What a night it was. The Gala 50th Reunion of Mumford High School, class of 1959 is over, but for the almost 500 attendees, both grads and their guests, it was an event to remember. Please share your pictures and your thoughts on these pages to help all of us remember the weekend.
As it was impossible to publicly thank all those who worked so hard to make this reconnection click (because the students of Mumford were never a malleable group, and age has not make them any more so) this is the next best method. A special thank you to Marlilyn Levin Schechter for the amazing signs, to Aviva Thatch Sandler for the decor that more than set the mood, and to Bonnie Weinstein King, who helped me so much with locating grads and everything else, and whom I managed to leave out of the committee listing in the book. Almost 50 volunteers showed up to blow up balloons and decorate the walls and tables. We never would have been done on time if they had not materialized out of thin air.
Please proceed to the photo albums, click on The Gala Reunion, and see what has been uploaded. Share your photos of the night too. If you have any problems with uploading, send me a note through Contact Us and I'll try to walk you through it.
